Before entering residential real estate sales, I enjoyed 25 years of literary agenting for writers and directors in Hollywood’s movie studios and networks. I started at William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills, then, opened Peter Fleming Agency on the Sunset Strip. With good fortune, I began trips to New York publishers, and occasionally, sold an author’s manuscript that became a best seller.

We put three kids through private schools. Advising and selling the services of talented clients, dealing all over town with studio execs, producers, business managers, accountants and lawyers required care and honesty without exception. Fast moving television work required working before the contracts arrived, always demanded that your word is your bond, the highest level of honesty.

Leaving the unreal world of show biz, and then joining a “real world” environment, working daily in my home Westside neighborhoods from Beverly Hills to Malibu, was a truly wonderful transition. Twenty five years of magic of the studios and networks was enough.

My twin brother John and I were born at the Good Samaritan, and later sister Jane, all raised in the Westside.

A fabulous year at Colegio Americano in Mexico City, graduated from University High, worked my way through USC with ushering and back stage jobs at CBS TV City, plus parking cars at Beverly Hills Hotel, made me one busy student: taking me 5 years to graduate. Then two years active in Navy Reserve with my own San Diego radio show.

Thirty years in real estate, never a single law suit, nor deposition or insurance claim, means consistently smooth transactions. Better than a problem solver, I am a problem avoider. Working with intelligent, honest people is the best way to achieve an excellent outcome. Highest net prices and no post-sale problems is the only way to represent my sellers.

My listings: We have always looked for the most motivated, end user buyer, the one family that wants to make a permanent
home in the property they purchase. We avoid speculative buyers, who plan to re-sell property, because they will rarely pay full
price. Simple enough. Consistently true.
