Making Back To School Time Nicer

September 9, 2010

Nourmand & Associates' Back to School Back Pack drive resulted in full backpacks for children in local foster homes and homeless shelters. Stuffed with school and personal care items, the backpacks were distributed by United Care. The campaign was coordinated with Howard Lorey, manager of the Hollywood office; Charlene Laraneta, manager of the Brentwood office and Libby Shapiro, manager of the Beverly Hills office. Dr. Alan and Doreen Kaye and The Peninsula Beverly Hills helped provide the supplies (notebooks, toothpaste and brushes, shampoo, rulers, pencils, glue sticks, sharpeners, markers and scissors). Pictured are, front from left: Myra Nourmand and Libby Shapiro and back, Scott Patterson, Carolyn Haskell, Adam Sires, Andrea Best, Rochelle Maize, Michael Nourmand and Vivian Flesch. “Many thanks and appreciation to all the managers and brokers at Nourmand & Associates for their generous support of this worthy cause. We also want to thank Pate Stevens for his special contribution of time and energy, along with Saeed Nourmand,” Myra Nourmand said.
